We are pleased to inform our community that FSA Web Challenge Team "Fire Wolves 360" won third place out of almost 100 competing teams in the middle school category of TAG-ED Web Challenge.
On Tuesday, April 23, students attended a wonderful award ceremony held at Google's midtown office. Our 6th grade team members Joseph Pederson, Gwyneth O'Sullivan, Eemil Harkonen, and Chloe Richardson were each awarded a $200 scholarship during the ceremony. These students loved the whole experience including a tour of Google midtown office and a presentation given by a Google representative.
Congratulations to this dynamic team of 6th graders, their parents, and our coach Mr. Kaya for their great achievement. Way to go!
A big THANK YOU to the Technology Association of Georgia for organizing this wonderful event and to Google for hosting it. It meant the world to our students.
